They did it again: For the fifth time, Australia's most important auctioneer, Langton's, has published its "Classification of Australian Wine". Instead of the 101 names of the last list, the actual classification mentions 123, out of them 17 rated as exceptional, 32 as outstandig, 36 as excellent and 38 as distinguished. In the list of the exceptionals, which has grown by 6 names since 2005, you can find the great classics as Penfolds' Grange, Henschke's Hill of Grace, Cullen's Diana Madeline oder Leeuwin's Art Series Chardonnay. Newcomers are Brokenwood's Graveyard Vineyard Shiraz, Torbreck's Run Rig, Chris Ringland's Shiraz, Clarendon Hills' Astralis, Cloonakilla's Shiraz Viognier and Grosset's Polish Hill Riesling.
